5 Most Powerful Villains in Anime

1 years ago By AI Smith

Most anime fans will agree that apart from the heroes, what makes anime so interesting are the anime villains. Many villains make an appearance and vanish, leaving behind some memories. However there are some villains that are always remembered.

The powerful creatures either stay in the anime series either in body or in spirit. And they pose a constant threat to the heroes. We curated a list of the top 5 most powerful villains that anime has witnessed.

5 Most Powerful Villains in Anime

Meruem – Hunter x Hunter

Meruem’s powers may be generic and common as compared to the other anime villains, his limitless pool of strength is capable of making him unstoppable. Although he is pretty young, he is way above any other villains in Hunter x Hunter in terms of battle proficiency.

Boros – One Punch Man

Saitama’s massive power in One Punch Man is not easy to understand and overcome for his opponents. In fact it is one of the greatest in all anime. But Boros was able to easily face Saitama’s powerful punch. To date he remains one of the only One Punch Man characters to have tested Saitama’s true strength.

Madara Uchiha – Naruto

Madara was and remains to be the strongest member of the Uchiha Clan. He is also the most powerful Shinobi of all time. Additionally, he has also grown stronger with age. His capabilities were clear from the very beginning. He is the Konohagakure founder, who possesses immense chakra at birth, and is able to conveniently hide his evil nature. His root nature is not easily evident to those around him.

Sōsuke Aizen – Bleach

Unlike many villains who have superhuman abilities, Aizen’s strength comes from his razor-sharp intellect and ruthless nature. That being said, he has some powers of his own too. The Soul Society captain can easily teleport and regenerate, among other powers.

Frieza – Dragon Ball

Frieza to date is the strongest villain in the Dragon Ball anime series. It’s not an exaggeration as no other villain has been able to even come close to the scourge of Saiyan.
