Lara Croft – Call Of Duty: Her Skills, Abilities, Strengths, Weaknesses

Lara Croft in Call of Duty was born in 1992. She is the child of Lord Richard and Lady Amelia Croft. While the character lived a relatively happy childhood, she had to go through tragedy. Her mother passed away when she was just five. 

Her father Richard spent much of his time researching the keys to immortality. He was engrossed that he neglected his daughter in the process. Richard’s obsession as well as later his suicide made Lara quite intelligent and adventurous. She found solace in her father’s previous expeditions and various books. Eventually she decided to navigate her own path by attending University College London where she became friends with Samantha Nishimura, who helped the introverted Lara grow out of her shell.

Lara Croft Strength

She is strong enough to bend metal and strong enough to hold metal gates. When it comes to puzzles, Lara can easily push large amounts of stone blocks in the Great Pyramid, she easily pushes around several stones in Egypt which would be equivalent to 27 tones. She can also pull down Pillars with relative ease. Lara is also capable of killing ancient beings like  the Magdalena and the Deathless one. 

Lara Croft Speed

Lara’s speed is that of a Bullet timer. She can easily run away from bears that are extremely fast. Besides, she can also easily evade a crashing plane and manage to dodge a speeding bullet train. Lara is also capable of avoiding rockets with ease, and can shoot multiple knives thrown at her with pinpoint accuracy

Lara Croft Durability

Lara Croft once fell 30 Feet with a Metal Rod in her. In spite of that she managed to survive and actually managed to walk it off. She even got thrown several feet to land on a rock, after which she just got up like no one’s business. She has even walked off being caught in a bear trap and survived a massive explosion.

Besides, she has survived several falls, crashes, explosions and more. In the comics, she survived her plane crash and was then forced to survive in the cold for 2 weeks.

Lara Croft Skill

Her skills include surviving shipwrecking on Yamatai, and going on to become a tomb raiding archaeologist, taking on small armies of the Brotherhood, taking down multiple mercs, defeated the immortal Deathless Ones, taking down mythical beings such as the Oni, defeating a Yeti.

Lara Croft Weaknesses

Lara also has some weaknesses which include being overconfident in her abilities, being cocky. Another thing is that although she has some extraordinary skills, she can still be killed via normal means as she is only human.

Besides, she Isn’t superhuman, thus enough stabs, bullet wounds, and fatal blows are enough to put her down. Lara tends to rely more on long range weaponry and her traditional bullets then CQC. She prefers to shoot the enemy rather than punching or kicking them.

In the reboot timeline of the game, she appears to be suffering from PTSD and is not the most mentally stable person in the game. This can sometimes affect her in battle.
