GTA 6 Map Size Comparison Leaves Fans In Awe

As per the information gathered by the user, when comparing the San Andreas map from Grand Theft Auto 5 to the reported Vice City map from the upcoming game, the latter is much bigger. However, gamers have been told to take the leak with a grain of salt as the actual map might be different in size. It is also interesting to note that the current HD Universe Vice City map is entirely designed by data miners.
The user ‘LivingSignificant555’ shared details of the leaked map on the r/GTA6 thread on 4th October 2023 on Reddit. In this, the user said that the new map was originally made by another user who does by the name ‘DuPzOr.’ The users took the map of Grand Theft Auto 5 in the exact coordinates in the game to compare the sizes. Multiple sources state that GTA 5 and GTA 6 both uses the Rockstar Advance Game Engine (RAGE). User ‘LivingSignificant555’ then took the RAGE units of both maps and matched it with an accuracy of around +- 50 in every direction on X and Y. It is through this method that he/she deduced that the reported GTA 6 map is double the size of the San Andreas map.
Details About The Leaked GTA 6 Map
As per the match, the new map has more land mass towards its west and southwest areas. It is also possible that the new map could be bigger than the current size as the leaked clips showed that there were no concrete boundary line and the map could be expanded even further. One interesting thing that many fans noticed was that the top portion of the map, the north, was still shrouded in mystery. Usually, Rockstar Games create maps that are surrounded by water on all sides. But there is not enough data in the leak to determine what exactly the northern part of the map holds for gamers.
