Final Fantasy XVI demo, trailer, date and how to download for free
An error in the publication of an announcement already gave us the understanding that we would imminently have the long-awaited demo of Final Fantasy XVI and that is how it has been. Square Enix has confirmed that today, June 12, players around the world will be able to enjoy an extensive demo version of their highly anticipated JRPG with a good variety of content so they can experience the exciting action of this action adventure and role before its final release on June 22.
The FF16 demo will be available from 10:00 ( check the schedule by country) and can be downloaded for free in the PS5 Store. If you decide to download it, you will be happy to know that this trial version includes more than 2 hours of gameplay that covers the prologue of the adventure and a couple of key moments so that you can experience the fighting of the new game in the Final Fantasy saga in all its splendor. Thus, once you complete the prologue you will unlock a “special battle demo ” that will allow you to fight various enemies using new Eikons.
You’ll be happy to know that saved data will carry over to the final version of FF XVI on June 22, but it only covers the prologue portion, and not the special combat section designed specifically for this demo.

Square Enix has taken advantage of the announcement of this demo to also share other interesting details, such as that Platinum Games and the team behind Kingdom Hearts based in Osaka have collaborated in the development of Final Fantasy XVI.
There have been several creatives behind the fantastic NieR: Automata, led by designer Takahisa Taura, who have worked on this new work by Square Enix. As reported by the Japanese company, both teams have contributed to designing the combat system of this new JRPG.
