The strategy game had been announced for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Xbox Game Pass during the Xbox Game Showcase.

Atlus has confirmed all platforms for Persona 5 Tactica, the strategy role-playing game announced last weekend during the Xbox Game Showcase.

The game will be available on November 17 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 -with a free upgrade to PS5- and Steam, in addition to the familiar versions of Xbox Series, Xbox One and Windows PC debuting on Xbox Game Pass.

The game will continue the story of the hero group from Persona 5. “After a strange incident, the Phantom Thieves venture into a strange kingdom whose inhabitants live under tyranny. Surrounded by a military group, the Legionnaires, they find themselves in grave danger until a mysterious revolutionary named Erina rescues them and offers them a deal tempting in exchange for their help. What will be the truth behind Erina and the deal she offers the Phantom Thieves? Take down your enemies with powerful Personas and a wide range of weapons that will allow you to defeat them in style in this new RPG tactic of the award-winning Persona 5 ,” says Atlus.

A new combat system

The novelty of this spin-off is that it is an SRPG in which we select a group of three characters, although it will maintain classic Persona mechanics such as the “1 More” to perform an extra action after incapacitating an enemy, or the All-Out Attack “Tribangle” that activates when all three units surround the opponent.

The music will be completely recognizable for fans of the saga -and specifically of Persona 5- for its rock style and the voice of Lyn, who will interpret several songs. The composer is Toshiki Konishi, guitarist for Persona Super Live 2022.
