Olympics Esports Week 2023 Updates, How to fill forum, site link, events name and more
ESports have gained great popularity in recent years, which is why the International Olympic Committee announced the inauguration of Olympic Esports Week (OEW).
This event comes with the intention of promoting these disciplines to the world and fostering a relationship with the competitive gaming community. International Federations chose ten games to represent their sport at the OES.
And there, some of the best players in the world will gather in Singapore, where the winners of the first edition of the Olympic Esports Series will be crowned as winners and they will get handsome rewards as well.
Among the list of games to speculate, we can rule out those that present violence, since the sponsors have opposed it, instead, among the genres confirmed for the event we can find cycling, sailing, rowing, baseball and several related to motorsports. We don’t know to what extent sponsors understand a game to be violent, we won’t see Call of Duty on the list, but the most popular eSports title undoubtedly belongs to League of Legends, which is not explicitly a game or violent.
Among the disciplines that can be seen in this event are Archery (Tic Tac Bow), Baseball (WBSC baseball: Power Pros), Chess ( Chess.com ), Cycling (Zwift), Dance (Just Dance), Motorsports (Grand Tourism), Sailing (Virtual Regatta), Shooting (Fortnite), Taekwondo (Virtual Taekwondo) and Tennis (Tennis Clash).
