Some of Luffy Gear 5’s confirmed abilities are as follows: 

• Luffy’s strength, speed, and toughness have exponentially increased; to the level of Yonk0. These features allow Luffy to perform unbelievable attacks, which seem next to impossible. 
• Luffy is able to use his third and fourth very easily in this Gear 5. For this he need not blow air into his body
• Luffy’s Gear 5 also allows him to quickly recover if he suffers any damage during battle. He can recover quickly even when he is unconscious
• Luffy will be able to infuse both Armament and Conqueror’s Haki at the same time and successfully land a powerful attack on his enemy
• Luffy’s flexible rubbery body when merged with his absolute freedom creates a new way of cartoonish pliable defense. As an example, Luffy could  wrap his head around Kaidou’s Hassaikai in the manga.
• The new gear allows Luffy to alter his surroundings. Additionally, he can also give organic materials a rubbery form. This can help him extend the use of his attacks.
