World Of Warcraft: Is ‘Death By Jump’ Creating Problems For WoW Users?

7 months ago By AI Smith

Unbelievable, but true: if you jump into World of Warcraft Classic, you can die. Let’s see, it’s not that beast, but it is strange, very rare. Surely, it’s one of the weirdest bugs we’ve seen in a long time. So much so that if it weren’t for the official forums, we would hardly believe that Blizzard is working on fixing it. It looks like something out of a bad joke book, but you know what they say: “Truth is always stranger than fiction.”

Well, here it is 50/50, but it is still a story, to say the least, implausible. To be honest, We remember a few bugs as peculiar as this, whether in WoW or other MMOs. As they have collected in PCGamesN, there is a bug in the game that can cause us to die if we start jumping in the middle of a fight. More specifically, our character will be stunned and then die. And if this seems little to you, they will also kick us out of the game.

We don’t know how many players this has happened to, but it looks like the Ebbnflow player isn’t the only one. The story does not end there. Have you ever heard that a human being is the only animal that can trip over the same stone twice? Well, in this case, there have been three since the player suffered this same error several times.

Death by Jump, the news of WoW Classic

Surely, it would end up forcing it to see if it had been something specific or if it was an error that had occurred by chance, but no. Now, not every time it happened. The character only died on one of the occasions, so it could have died because of the enemies he had around him. He doesn’t tell, but the conclusion is clear: if you jump, you die or at least there is a possibility.

In this regard, Aggrend, one of the WoW Classic products, responded by informing him that they were aware of the bug (so it is inferred that it has happened to more players) and that they are working on fixing it. “Thanks for the Ebbnflow report. We are aware of this issue and hope to have a fix for our build update next week. In the meantime, please avoid jumping into combat as this is due to being stunned/rooted/otherwise CC on the air. Thank you for the report and my condolences on the character’s death!”, he replied.
