DAMWON clinched victory in the 2020 League of Legends World Championship showcasing their talent on the global stage. Their roster, including players like Nuguri, Canyon, ShowMaker, Ghost and BeryL displayed impressive teamwork and innovation. The team’s triumph highlighted the strength of the South Korean esports ecosystem. DAMWON’s success inspired numerous fans and contributed to the narrative of Korean dominance in competitive League of Legends. The organization’s achievements solidified its place as a respected name in the esports realm.

DRX:

DRX (formerly known as DragonX) was a South Korean esports organization that competed in League of Legends. Founded in 2019 the team quickly gained attention for their performance in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and international competitions. Their roster featured players like Chovy, Doran, Pyosik, Deft and Keria who exhibited exceptional skill and synergy. DRX’s gameplay often showcased innovative strategies and strong individual performances. However despite consistently reaching the playoffs and demonstrating promise they didn’t secure a championship title.

The team’s brand was associated with exciting and aggressive gameplay. In 2020 DRX participated in the League of Legends World Championship where they reached the quarterfinals. While the organization disbanded in late 2020 due to financial difficulties its impact on the competitive scene and the talent of its players remain part of the League of Legends legacy.
