GTA 6 Hacker Has Been Declared Unfit To Stand Trial
The young man who leaked the source code of GTA 5 and the first material of GTA 6 will not be able to be tried in court. But it will be confirmed whether or not he committed the crimes of which he is accused.
In September 2022, there was a serious Grand Theft Auto 6 leak at Rockstar’s house. The author was Arion Kurtaj, a 17-year-old who, before being arrested, had also sold the source code for GTA 5. Although the pseudonymous teapot, now 18 years old, pleaded guilty at the time, he is still being investigated. According to reports from Eurogamer, it seems that the dangerous hacker will not be able to be tried after being evaluated by psychiatrists. However, even if that operation cannot be carried out, a court will still decide whether or not Kurtaj committed the two crimes of which he is accused, including three counts of blackmail, two counts of fraud and six charges under the ‘Computer Misuse Act. ‘(Computer Misuse Act).
The hacker’s arrest came almost immediately: ” The arrest followed an investigation by US federal security forces, who worked with their UK counterparts to identify AK, who is said to be part of a group known as Lapsus$, as a suspect in both attacks. A law enforcement source said at least two other people are believed to be involved in the attack on Rockstar and Uber, with more arrests expected.” And is that Kurtaj could have collaborated with other hackers to bring up the leaks of GTA 6 and GTA 5.
