Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Pistol Tera List: All Top And Worst Rankings

11 months ago By AI Smith

Handguns and sidearms are essential components of a player’s arsenal in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). By deploying them, you build team morale and momentum against the opposition. Although they are not essential, well-placed pistol shots can start a domino effect that can continue long into the second half of the match. Even though there are just 13 rounds in the battle, winning depends heavily on your equipment knowledge.

It is not enough to choose the strongest handgun when choosing a weapon. The aspects of your team economy and available finances play a crucial role in establishing your arsenal in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). Because of this, you choose your weapons based on your team’s economy as well as quick impact.

Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) pistol tier list

S-Tier: Desert Eagle and Tec-9

1) Desert Eagle

The Deagle earned the moniker “hand cannon” for good cause. Among the best pistols in CS2, the Desert Eagle is a beast. If you crouch or counter-strafe correctly, it can be extremely precise. Whether they are armored or not, headshots often only need one round. Even an opponent wearing a Kevlar outfit can be taken out with two or three body shots at close range.

This handgun’s slow rate of fire, delayed recovery after inaccurate shots, and seven-clip magazine are its only shortcomings. Both amateur and expert players continue to choose this sidearm. If you have this pistol in your hands, you can crush opponents.

2) Tec-9

The Five-SeveN, a handgun restricted to Counter Terrorists, can be substituted with the Tec-9, a sidearm only available to Terrorists in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). It is one of the most well-known run-and-gun Counter-Strike handguns. A complete complement of terrorists with Tec-9s can easily overwhelm defenders with rifles by flashing and smoking their way onto a scene.

The reason for this is that its 18-clip magazine, which can efficiently eliminate opponents before running out, means they don’t need to pause to reload. The Tec-9 performs admirably up close thanks to its quick firing rate, but at further ranges it has too much recoil and issues with accuracy.

The Tec-9 is still a well-liked option because of its deadly blend of firepower and quickness, even with its shortcomings.

A-Tier: P250 and USP-S

1) P250

One of the most powerful handguns in Counter-Strike 2 is the P250, a workhorse for both terrorists and counter-terrorists. It functions superbly in many different conditions. With its short recoil and rapid shooting rate, the P250 is a great weapon for close quarters combat. It’s the perfect option for individuals looking to save costs on a deadly sidearm at a fair price.

A player with a P250 may easily hit and kill an opponent with more equipment while taking their rifle or SMG, even in an eco round. Long-range conflicts are foolish due to the sidearm’s bullet spread, but those who are committed and have a P250 can wreak havoc on the opposing squad.

2) USP-S

Since Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and all of its predecessors, squads fighting counterterrorism have always carried the USP-S (the “S” stands for silent) as a sidearm. Even in medium-range encounters, its solid damage is supported by reasonable accuracy.

Maintaining an angle or skillfully counter-strafing are two ways to farm headshots. However, precision is a significant issue that could cause this gun to suffer when left-click frantically. The opponent team’s rifles or SMGs can be rivaled as long as you keep your sights fixed on your target.

B-Tier: Dual Berettas and Glock-18

1) Dual Berettas

In Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), you can realize your wildest fantasies of an old-fashioned western with the Dual Berettas. For maximum lead-slinging, quick firing, and minimal downtime, it’s a gun in each hand. You can fire more shots before needing to reload when you get two magazines for the price of one.

The Dual Berettas are a great option if you want to charge into combat quickly, but their reload time seriously compromises performance. The accuracy of the first shot is fairly good, despite the peculiar design. But the damage is only average at a distance. This gets bearable since you can fire a dozen shots at your victim before they get to safety, even if each shot deals less damage.

2) Glock-18

Since the advent of Counter-Strike, terrorist teams have relied on the Glock-18 because it is a dependable weapon for running and gunning. Because of its lack of accuracy, players must stay mobile and keep their sights fixed on their targets.

Keep pressing the fire button as long as your opponent is still standing, because headshots against unarmored opponents can be lethal even at medium ranges. Although the Glock-18 isn’t the worst option for a handgun, choose a more powerful sidearm unless it’s your first round or you’re saving for another one.

C-Tier: Five-SeveN and R8 Revolver

1) Five-SeveN

In Counter-Strike 2, the Five-SeveN is a well-liked armor-piercing sidearm among CTs (CS2). Its big magazine allows you to shoot for extended periods of time, and each shot has a considerable destructive power. Beyond medium range, accuracy starts to suffer, but any closer and your opponents will be scrambling for cover.

This pistol looks average on paper, dealing little harm to nearly any portion of the body, but that’s about all it can do. Many advantages await you when you get to know this handgun, like its 20-clip magazine and accurate performance up to close to medium range.

2) R8 Revolver

In Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), the R8 Revolver is a handgun with a punch similar to the Deagle’s, but with increased accuracy. The catch is that you have to hold down the left mouse button during the half-second delay while keeping your crosshair on target when you pull the hammer back before firing by pushing the trigger.

There is a speedier alternative firing mode on the R8 that includes using the right mouse button repeatedly to perform a fanning technique. It is, however, much less precise and should only be used in close-quarters situations. When you can get past its delayed fire, not much in the game can combine such accuracy with lethal firepower.

The R8’s slow rate of fire and rather challenging handling cause it to lose damage per second to Desert Eagle even if it has a higher damage per shot.

D-Tier: P2000 and CZ75-Auto

1) P2000

In Counter-Strike 2, the CT team uses the P2000 as a backup sidearm to the USP-S (CS2). The P2000 and the USP-S are almost comparable in terms of damage, fire rate, and magazine size (the P2000 has one more bullet in its clip). Perfect for a mobile CT, it’s the best option when you need to spray down a line of opponents charging into a site while your allies rotate in to help.

With even less accuracy than the USP-S, all things considered, it is a poor choice for a sidearm. Acquiring a weapon with greater potency than the P2000 is the better option, as it is not now included in the competitive meta of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).

2) CZ75-Auto

In Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), the CZ75-Auto is an automatic handgun. Its first shot is still fairly precise, but it becomes much less accurate with each subsequent shot. For AWPers and lurkers who need to swiftly empty their magazines to get out of a sticky situation, this is the perfect sidearm.

Its automatic fire mode at close range allows it to do more damage per second than either the Tec-9 or Five-SeveN weapon. Its tiny magazine, challenging recoil control pattern, and subpar accuracy, however, negate this advantage. This Czech handgun is just not capable of easily taking out opponents.

That brings us to the end of our Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) pistol tier list. Players must choose their best sidearm based on the details in order to master first-round and eco-round fights with rivals.
