Gamers8 Rocket League 2023 Live Streaming: Date, Prize Pool, Format, And More

Gamers8 is one of the largest esports gatherings in the world. Popularly known as the destination for elite esports athletes and gamers, the tournament witnesses some of the best teams and players gather in Riyadh. The high-octane gaming celebration runs for eight weeks. 

Gamers8 returned for its second edition in 2023 with more events, esports titles, celebrations, and bigger prize money. It is organized by the Saudi Esports Federation, and the 2023 edition  kicked off on 6th July. The event called ‘The Land of Heroes’ had a total of 13 esports tournaments which will end on 31st August 2023. It has a combined prize pool of $33.5 Million USD. Among them, the Rocket League tournament is one of the most anticipated tournaments.

Gamers8 2023 Rocket League Event Date

The Gamers8 2023 Rocket League will begin on 24th August 2023. The event will take place at Riyadh Boulevard in an offline LAN setting, wherein a total of 24 teams will be seen participating in the event. 

Gamers8 2023 Rocket League Prize Pool

At the Gamers8 2023 Rocket League the 24 Rocket League teams will be seen locking horns to take home the lion’s share of the $2 Million USD prize pool.

Rocket League 2023 Gamers8 Format

Group Stage

The group stage will have four groups of six teams each. In this stage all the matches will be played in a Double Elimination Bracket. Similarly all matches will have the best-of-five (BO5) format. 

The participating teams are expected to distribute their roster on who will play for them in a 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 game.

Order of Games:

• Game 1: 3v3
• Game 2: The loser of Game 1 gets to pick from 1v1 or 2v2 Game Mode
• Game 3: 3v3
• Game 4: The Game Mode will be the one that has not been chosen in Game 2
• Game 5: 3v3

Finally, the top 2 teams per group, which is eight teams in total will qualify for the Playoffs.

Playoffs Stage

The Playoff stage will be played in Single Elimination Bracket and will follow a best-of-seven (BO7). The participating teams distribute their roster on who will play for them in a 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 game.

Order of Games:

• Game 1: 3v3
• Game 2: The loser of Game 1 will pick from 1v1 or 2v2 Game Mode
• Game 3: 3v3
• Game 4: The Game Mode will be the one that has not been chosen in Game 2
• Game 5: 3v3
• Game 6: The loser of Game 5 picks from 1v1 or 2v2 Game Mode
• Game 7: 3v3
