From Beginners To Pro: How To Master Call Of Duty? Explained

There is a tutorial available for Call of Duty, and we strongly advise any new players to start there. It is impossible to miss because it displays as soon as the game launches. Never skip it.

As with earlier Call of Duty games, the first Campaign missions in Modern Warfare II are instead the best way to become familiar with the game’s major plot and learn a ton about how to play it.

You will most certainly level up to Rank 4 after participating in a few matches of the key online modes, such as Warzone Battle Royale and DMZ or Modern Warfare II Multiplayer and Special Ops. You now have the ability to create a Custom Loadout.

This slightly varies between modes, as you will see in-game, but it always has a Primary Weapon, almost always contains a Secondary Weapon (“remember switching to your secondary is always faster than reloading”), has at least one piece of Equipment (something you throw or use for a benefit), and then has other items — depending on the mode — that we will lead you to find in-game.

Each Custom Loadout varies depending on the mode. Once you pass the main hub screen, your Custom Loadout is always located under the “Weapons” option. However, let me explain what a Custom Loadout actually is.

Multiplayer Modern Warfare 2. In the majority of multiplayer matches (Gunfight, Gunfight OSP, and Party Modes like Infected), your Custom Loadout is provided to you at the beginning are the exception).

Special Operations in Modern Warfare 2. With the exception of certain Playlists, missions and raid experiences are standard. These are frequently referred to as “SOMETHING — Name of Mission,” as “One in the Chamber — Defender: Mt. Zaya” (note: this playlist was not available at launch for Season 04, however it was available for a prior season).

Battle Royale in a Warzone (including any non-DMZ modes). Locate a loadout drop, or buy one at a buy station. Additionally, you may buy the separate Primary Weapons and Perk Packages to gain certain gear and other things that aren’t in Custom Loadouts but are still quite useful.

Beta for Warzone DMZ. Whatever you load into the DMZ via your loadout, which varies depending on the Operator, is what you have. Although ammunition is limited, there are always new and improved weapons available in the world. Once you have extracted them, you can employ them for a subsequent incursion.

Before entering a match, take some time to customize your weapon using the Weapons Menu, and check back frequently to see what new items have been unlocked (as you rank up or level up your weapon and unlock more attachments).

Additionally, you can check the Battle Pass or the Store to discover what customized setups, or Weapon Blueprints, that are all designed to perform to three designated strengths straight out of the box, can be purchased.

Call of Duty is a really fun game to play, whether you are just starting out or have been playing for years. So while you apply all the strategies and tips, don’t forget to most importantly have fun.
