3 Reasons How Diablo IV’s OP Druid Build Damages Over 2 Billion Points

1 years ago By AI Smith

A studio representative claims that “this behavior is not intentional,” so they will look to readjust it in the future”.

The Diablo saga experience is not based solely on slaughtering hordes of demonic creatures, but part of the fun is creating an effective build in any combat. At this point, and with Diablo IV available for more than a month, the forums have been filled with guides to build really powerful characters. But probably the biggest feat in this arena comes from two content creators who have managed to deal over 1 billion points of damage with their druids.

As per reports, streamer Moxsy managed to land a hit of 1.8 billion damage points , while YouTuber Echohack raised this number even higher with a slightly different setup that hit 2.1 billion damage points . As you can imagine, we are talking about very broken builds that do not take advantage of any glitch in the game, so they are totally valid according to the rules implemented by Blizzard. However, it seems that this developer is not very happy with what the content creators have achieved.

Because, in a statement sent to PC Gamer , a Blizzard representative states that ” this behavior is not intentional .” Therefore, we can expect a future update that will rework the strongest builds of the moment, with special emphasis on the examples mentioned in the previous paragraph: “The team is looking to change it in the near future with the aim of improving balance “.

Other Diablo 4 changes confirmed by Blizzard

Blizzard has more reason to implement an update in Diablo IV, and we’re not just talking about the implementation of new content and Seasons. In this sense, the team already assured the community that they were trying to find a solution to the limited storage space available in the ARPG, a problem that has generated more than one complaint on the network. Additionally, there is a chance that the game will bring back the Reborn mechanic from Diablo III to prevent users from creating a new character to access the Battle Pass.

Diablo IV Success

As reported by Blizzard in a press release last Month in June, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV has surpassed the barrier of $666 million in the initial five days of launch. These incomes have also been thanks to microtransactions, which have been the subject of controversy since some cosmetics cost up to 25 euros in Diablo 4.

The company has also shared other statistics that show the great reception of the game. In this way, 276 million hours have been exceeded and players have killed 276,000 million demons. However, users have also died 316 million times. The true heroes of the community have been the 163 people who have reached the maximum level in Hardcore Mode, that is, permanent death where you lose all your character, time and objects.
