The Nintendo game regains the top spot on the list after the week of the release of Final Fantasy XVI and has already sold 258,000 units in Europe (Spain).

We return with a new review of the sales of physical format games in Spain, from July 26 to 2 (week 26 of the year), in which Final Fantasy XVI for PS5 was the best-selling game.

Here is the List:

1. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch)

2. Final Fantasy XVI (PS5)

3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)

4. Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE (Switch)

5. FIFA 23 (Switch)

6. Celeste (Switch)

7. Minecraft (Switch)

8. F1 2023 (PS4)

9. Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)

10. Nintendo Switch Sports (Switch)

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom recovers the first sales position in Spain with 7,550 units, exceeding 258,000 since its launch. The game that was the best seller in its launch week, Final Fantasy XVI occupies the second position with 3750 units. In third place, is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which continues to achieve great figures six years after its launch with 3,050 units, already adding more than 947,000.

From the rest of the top, some new entries stand out, such as Master Detective Archives: Rain Code for Nintendo Switch with 2,850 units, or Celeste for Switch, a game released digitally in 2018 that sold 2,100 units, 400 on PS4. Also highlight Super Mario Odyssey, which returns to the top in ninth position with 1,700 units sold, and with a total of almost 710,000 since its launch.

The week has had quite a few releases, in addition to those that have entered the top, and as every week we want to highlight the most interesting ones. For example Everybody 1-2-Switch! The new exclusive game for Switch has managed to sell 450 units, a figure that seems quite low for the console to which it has been launched, or Unmetal, the Spanish game that has sold 650 units for Switch and 350 in its version for PS4.

PS5 was the best-selling console

Regarding the sale of consoles, PlayStation 5 was the best-selling console of the week and a long way from its pursuer, with the aggressive discount promotion of €100, which has worked very well.

PS5: 12,850 units (11,950 for the Disc version; 900 units for the digital version)

Nintendo Switch: 5,950 units (4,000 units of the Oled version)

Xbox Series: 1,300 units (Xbox Series S 550 units; Xbox Series X 750 units)

PS4: 250 units

And to finish PlayStation VR2 in its 20th week of life it has managed to sell 165 units and now has a total of 14,155.
