Why Is One Punch A Must-Watch Anime Series For Indians?
The story:
Greetings from a new planet! Monsters are allowed to wander free in this area and compete with human civilization for world dominance. In response to the monster menace, some people have banded together to create a superhero organization, the main goal of which is to divide the heroes into classes and ranks and dispatch them in accordance with the stated level of threat.
Admit Saitama. a middle-aged man leading a typical existence. He makes an effort to conserve money and is constantly searching for the next great deal. He does both his own laundry and meal preparation. He enjoys watching TV in his pajamas when he has free time. He basically epitomizes the single man.
But he stands out from the others in one particular way. He is a superhero for fun! At least that’s how he calls himself.
He started exercising because he felt like his life had become too routine. In order to be able to defeat monsters with a single blow, he made the decision to become extremely strong.
The anime’s name is One Punch Man for this reason. He roams around slaying monsters for fun with his robotic apprentice Genos, whom Saitama reluctantly adopted.
The action sequences:
Everything is included in One Punch Man, including sword fighting, martial arts, and rocket launchers. In addition, it is not all “bang-bang” and flash (sorry, Michael Bay). You can still feel the force of each blow even though the animation is light and simplistic. You wince whenever the hero suffers injury. Await the season’s last episode as well. Since that episode, the bar has been set much higher for action scenes in general.
Every time our hero engages in combat with a new foe, the background score builds up the suspense and then abruptly explodes into a furious beat that perfectly complements the action. The background electric guitar takes on a whole new level when structures are torn apart and reduced to rubble. The music genuinely amplifies the impact a scene has on you rather than just being there in the background.
The realistic portrayal of characters:
Although it is an anime and has its humorous moments, it also illustrates that people have different shades of character.
Amai Mask is a superhero of the highest caliber who acts self-servingly in the name of fame. Mumen Rider is a class C hero who does not possess any special abilities other than his determination to improve society and his will.
Some heroes place a higher value on their rank than on the good they provide for society. Others, meanwhile, let their egos prevent them from seeing the demands of society.
The characters are not flat, one-dimensional individuals with only one overarching goal in life. It is commendable that the writers gave each character substance such that you would remember them even if you stopped watching the show. That quality is admirable for any plot.
Saitama
The character of Saitama itself is noteworthy. His agony is reasonable considering that he can terminate the fight with a single punch as a hero who wanted to combat demons for fun.
In one of the episodes, he admits that he wants to build his own fan following and registers with the superhero organization to do so. However, he accepts responsibility for the failure of the heroes when it occurs at a specific incident and the society as a whole mocks them, protecting the reputation of the others.
The fact that he is disliked by the world does not matter. He has unquestionably completely won me over.
Throughout its running period, One Punch Man forces you to live every moment. When our hero succeeds, it exhilarates you, and when he is unable to obtain his goals, it depresses me. You can feel my pulse beating quickly as you wait in eager anticipation for Saitama’s confrontation with his adversary. There aren’t many TV series that can hold your attention like One Punch Man does.
