The Qualification Process:
To secure a spot in Valorant Champions 2023, teams had to battle through rigorous competition across International Leagues, Global Events, and Regional Tournaments. The qualification process involved multiple stages:
Direct Qualifiers: Nine teams secured their places by finishing within the top three positions in their respective International Leagues. These teams showcased consistent performance and dominance in their regions.
Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ): Four additional teams earned invitations through three LCQ events hosted by the International Leagues. Each LCQ event qualified one team, except for VCT EMEA, which secured two slots due to FNATIC’s victory at Masters Tokyo.
China’s Representation: Three teams from China were selected based on their strong performance at regional tournaments. These teams showcased their prowess against tough competition within their region.
Tournament Format: Rules And Regulations
Valorant Champions 2023 will unfold through a Group Stage followed by a double elimination Bracket Stage. The sixteen qualified teams will be randomly sorted into four groups.
