A Chinese gamer drove 1,200 miles to meet his online girlfriend. The gamer, identified by his surname, Zhang, met Xiaoyu, through an online game called “CrossFire.” The couple fell in love and began a long-distance relationship. Zhang finally decided that he wanted to meet Xiaoyu in person, for which he drove 1,200 miles to her hometown, where they finally met in person. Zhang and Xiaoyu are married and now have a child together.

Recently, a 27-year old woman named Seema Haider left her country Pakistan and her husband with her four children. She smuggled herself into rival country India via Nepal. She did so to marry Sachin Meena, 22 year old Indian man whom she met while playing the online battle royale game PUBG during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. This story is bizarre in various aspects. Firstly, India and Pakistan are famous age-old rival nations. Citizens are not permitted to even travel to the rival country. In such situations Seema smuggled herself along with her four children illegally. Secondly, Seema is a Muslim, while Sachin is a Hindu. The religious tension between the two religions is always steamed up in both their respective nations. Additionally, Seema revealed she first fell in love with his PUBG shooting skills.
The next ironic thing was when Seema’s husband reportedly revealed that Seema and him had eloped after rejection from their families to get married. The two have a long story of their own. Another debatable thing is that Sachin is an unmarried 22 year old male, while Seema is a 27 year old female with four kinds. Every aspect of their equation is a big taboo on both the nations.
The couple allegedly planned to smuggle the woman into India for months by watching YouTube videos and more about how Pakistanis can travel to India. Currently the two are married, wherein Seema has converted to Hinduism and is requesting Indian citizenship from the government. “I’d rather die than return or leave Sachin,” Seema reportedly said.
