The Elder Scrolls 6 Date Shifted furthermore, expected release date, game price
It is a fact that the gaming industry has changed forever, specifically for triple-A games. On the one hand, the cost of producing them has increased exponentially, and on the other, the development time has increased. The Elder Scrolls 6 is one of many examples, and it’s a title highly desired by the community despite virtually no information being shared.
In this way, many players theorize about a possible release date, and it has been Phil Spencer who has given an estimate in the lawsuit against the FTC. In statements collected by a recent agent, the Xbox boss has stated that The Elder Scrolls 6 is “more than five years away”, that is, it would be released in at least 2028.
It was something expected by many, but it is worth noting that Microsoft itself has indicated that the next generation consoles will arrive that same year. “We’re talking about probably more than 5 years away,” says the CEO of XBOX Game Studios. The American video game publisher Bethesda is likely to start development on The Elder Scrolls 6 from September 2023, once Starfield is released.

Microsoft considers The Elder Scrolls 6 to be a midsize game, the company noted in documents submitted to the CMA late last year. The truth is that it is a title that is highly desired by fans, and surely Bethesda wants to make a massive title, like Starfield. The company plans to release a lot of DLCs and support the space RPG with a lot of content. What’s more, there’s already even an expansion planned to be released at a post-launch date.
The expected price of the game
As for the price of the Elder Scrolls 6, we shouldn’t see much of a variance from what we’ve already seen. When the game finally launches, we’ll no doubt see a price tag of $59.99 for a base game. However, if Bethesda or ZeniMax follow up on previous releases, we could see a Deluxe Edition and a Collector’s Edition as well.
A deluxe edition of Elder Scrolls VI, depending on what’s on offer, could easily be priced at $79.99, where many deluxe editions in the industry are priced. The Collector’s Edition could cost around $200, depending on what’s on offer inside it. We’ve seen the Collector’s Edition for games cost as little as $80 and as high as $400 or more, so whether or not a Collector’s Edition is offered will all depend on the type of merchandise and content included.

In typical Bethesda fashion, there would be a Deluxe version of the game, a season pass, an art book, and possibly even an item or statue, representing the world or location the game will be based on.
The American video game publishers Bethesda and ZeniMax Media will no doubt sell a season pass alongside the basic version of the Elder Scrolls 6, and possibly even alongside the Deluxe version if it’s not included with it. The price of the season pass will likely depend on the content lineup Bethesda has planned for The Elder Scrolls VI, but if they were simply following past releases and other games, players would be looking at anywhere from $14.99 to $29.99 for the season pass.
Season Passes are generally beneficial, as they allow players to pre-purchase DLC early and at a discounted price.
