Team Liquid Extends Their Partnership with Twitch

Team Liquid Extends Their Partnership with Twitch

The biggest Internet provider of eSports streams, Twitch has been dominating the market for a long a time now. However, in the last couple of years, other streaming providers have appeared and seized the fair share of the market. Despite that, Twitch remains the biggest and most popular provider of the streaming services for the users from all over the world.

When it comes to eSports organizations that have been working with Twitch, Team Liquid and Twitch have had a long and successful cooperation. Their partnership has been reconfirmed a couple of days ago when it was announced that Team Liquid will be extending their deal with Twitch. With that agreement, they confirmed their exclusive streaming on Twitch will continue for the upcoming period.

Together Since 2011

Since 2011, Twitch and Team Liquid have had more than a successful partnership which worked out very well for both sides. Quite a few other eSports organizations that previously had exclusive deals for streaming with Twitch are no longer exclusive with this streaming services provider. However, Team Liquid is sticking exclusively with Twitch and this will help the company remain the top platform in the world of eSports. As it is familiar to all those who follow eSports, Twitch is not only a platform for professional organizations and players. It also serves the amateur players who want to stream and share their efforts with the world.

According to Steve Arhancet, who is currently the CEO of Team Liquid, they, as a team, have a very good cooperation with Twitch. The team understands the importance of providing the gaming community with good quality content. At the same time, providing eSports players and organizations with the opportunity to stay financially viable has become one of the crucial issues in competitive gaming.

Besides that, Arhancet also said that all the members of Team Liquid are more than happy to extend their collaboration with Twitch. He emphasized they are all very excited about the upcoming period and new things that will be coming from Twitch and Team Liquid.

Maintaining Exclusivity

The announcement of this deal also included information that Team Liquid players will continue to stream exclusively on Twitch. It was also announced that other branches of Team Liquid Enterprises, such as Liquid Media and 1UP Studios, will also be creating original content that will be available on Twitch.

Twitch still maintains their exclusive deals with some other eSports organizations such as Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, and Team SoloMid. However, some other eSports organizations such as Team Dignitas have ended their exclusive deals with this streaming platform. With the rise of Facebook and YouTube Gaming, many teams have opted out in favor of those two streaming platforms while still maintaining a certain type of deal with Twitch.

With the rise of Facebook, YouTube Gaming, and other online streaming platforms, Twitch had to find other ways to keep its place at the top. By introducing the exclusive deals for streaming content with some of the biggest eSports organizations in the world, Twitch is making some significant efforts in this regard, maintaining its position as one of the leaders in the world of eSports.
