Team India Esports At Asian Games 2023 Standings, Wins, Medals, Points Table And Results
After being a demonstration event in the previous edition, esports will make its competitive debut as an official event at the Asian Games in 2023. Contests for seven distinct esports championships will be held among participating nations. DOTA 2, FIFA Online 4, League of Legends, and Street Fighter V: Champion Edition are the four competitions in which India is scheduled to take part.

Indian Dota 2 squad captain in the Asian Games 2023 is Mumbai-born esports competitor Darshan Bata, 28.
At the Asian Games 2023, a total of 14 nations will participate in the Dota 2 competition. While the remaining nine teams were divided into three groups for the initial group stage, China, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia will begin their campaign immediately from the quarterfinals.
The three group winners will compete against the other five in single-leg round-robin matches before joining them in the quarterfinals.
India’s Dota 2 squad finished second behind Nepal in the South Asian seeding competition, and it will begin its Asian Games 2023 campaign in the group stage.

India’s League of Legends teams comprising Captain Akshaj Shenoy (Kai), Samarth Arvind Trivedi (CrankO), Mihir Ranjan (Lotus), Sanindhya Malik (Deadcorp), Aakash Shandilya (Infi), Aditya Selvaraj (Krow) suffered a hard-fought 0-2 defeat against Vietnam in the quarter-finals at the Asian Games.
An unprecedented medal at the competition is up for grabs as 19 illustrious League of Legends teams across the continent square off against one another. The gold medal and bronze medal matchups will be played in the Best of 5 style, according to a press release from the Esports Federation of India (ESFI), while all matches up until the final will be played in the Best of 3 format.

Unfortunately, none of the Indian teams in the esports domain have managed to win medals at the ongoing Asian Games 2023 outing. India participated in a total of four out of six esports titles at the event, but could not find any luck with winning any medals there. However Indian esports stars put up a great show and won the hearts of millions ar the event. Meanwhile Indian players are performing exceptionally well in other sports at the Asian Games 2023.
