Team Gladiators Become The Champions Of BGIS 2023, Prize Money, Distribution And More
After three exciting days, Gladiator Esports emerged triumphant in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Grand Finals. The ceremony, held at Mumbai’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium, drew a packed house of fervent attendees. The audience was also treated to an appearance on the third day by Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra.
Gladiator Esports won the grand prize and the ₹75 lakh winning award, with an incredible ₹2 crore in cash up for grabs. The team performed remarkably well throughout the series. The finals saw the elite group continue to compete at the same level even if they did not win a single Chicken Dinner. Their ability to achieve 200 points without having had a single chicken supper is evidence of their unrelenting consistency.
Furthermore, Gladiator’s Destro achieved his second BGIS title win. He has previously been crowned champion in BGMI’s inaugural season with Skylightz Esports in 2021.

BGIS 2023 special awards winners
Gladiators’ DeltaPG won the award for being the Most Valuable Player at BGIS 2023. He was awarded a cash prize of INR 4,00,000 for his achievement. Here are the other BGIS 2023 special award winners.

In addition, the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals’ best eight performers have been chosen to compete in the BGMI India vs. South Korea match, which is scheduled for October 26–28.
Despite starting as the underdogs, Big Brother Esports managed to earn ₹37.5 lakh for a fantastic second place finish. Team XSpark, who was well-liked by the audience, secured third position and received ₹25 lakh as compensation.
After finishing among the top three teams at the end of day 2, Blind, who had been on a roll for the past few months, had to settle for fourth place and earn ₹12.5 lakhs, while Revenant dropped to seventh.
The competition showcased the might of underdog teams, as nine of the sixteen teams presented formidable opposition to seasoned teams. The fact that fan favorites like GodLike and Team Soul were eliminated from the finals highlights how fierce the competition was.
A total of ₹10 Lakhs was given by the BGIS to honor individual excellence. Gladiators Delta was named the MVP of the series, and Big Brother Asif won the MVP of the finals. Blind Manya, who performed consistently in 2023, won the Best IGL award. Duke from Glitch Reborn, meanwhile, received recognition as the competition’s Rising Star.
The BGMI India vs. South Korea tournament, slated for October 26–28, will include the top 8 performers from the BGIS Finale. After some crazy action involving numerous teams, the India Series concluded on October 15. It began on August 10.
BGIS 2023
The competition began in July, with 2048 teams competing through multiple rounds to earn a spot in the championship round. 16 teams faced off against one another over the course of 18 bouts on October 12, 13, and 15 in an attempt to win the ultimate chicken supper. Team Gladiators won the BGIS final, leaving their mark in the Esports scene. The event was witnessed by an audience of almost 6,000 people.
Krafton arranged this competition to give both new and experienced teams an equal opportunity to participate and show off their skills. Fans of BGMI and Esports enthusiasts responded very well to the event, which was streamed live on JioCinema and the KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS YouTube channel. To allow viewers from all around the country to enjoy the fierce fights, the tournament final was shown in ten different languages, including Hindi, English, and other regional tongues.
The Krafton Head of Esports, Karan Pathak, stated that their participation in this competition demonstrates their dedication to the development of Esports in India. He went on to say that Krafton is honored to have given a stage to the amazing performances put on by both seasoned and up-and-coming players.
