Resident Evil Remake Crosses Over 5 Million Copies

Capcom’s remake of the iconic survival horror game, Resident Evil 4, continues to make waves in the gaming industry as it achieves yet another milestone just four months after its initial launch.

With over 5 million copies sold, the Resident Evil 4 remake currently ranks 14th on Capcom’s prestigious list of platinum titles, which comprises games with lifetime sales exceeding 1 million copies. As the company prepares to release its quarterly report next week, Resident Evil 4 is expected to be positioned between Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak (5.4 million copies sold) and the original PlayStation version of Resident Evil 2 (4.96 million copies).
