Nintendo has gained a lot of its popularity because of the famous Mario game on the platform. Over the years, Nintendo has published several Mario games ever since its his original debut in 1981’s Donkey Kong.
Mario has been around entertaining games for nearly 40 years now and has over 25 games. Undoubtedly, Super Mario games are the longest running gaming series ever. The game has been released in 2D and 3D formats and on good hardware as well as bad, No matter what format and hardware, the plumber running, jumping, and gathering coins has been a constant and fans seem to love it.
Many versions of Super Mario are available on Nintendo Switch, there are other tangential versions like Luigi’s Mansion and crossover games such as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

After a lot of arguments and differences, we finally concluded by putting together this list of all the Super Mario games in order of their popularity and favoritism. Their historical context, their revolutionary or creative innovations were some of the things considered.
Additionally, to make the list short and easy, we have only included Super Mario games that are currently available on Nintendo Switch. The older versions of the game on other platforms have not been considered.
