PUBG Mobile 2.7 x Dragon Ball Super Theme Collaboration: Game Modes, Items, & More
PUBG Mobile, one of the most popular battle royale games in the world, is gearing up for a major collaboration with Dragon Ball Super. The 2.7 update, which will be released on July 11, 2023, will feature a variety of new content inspired by the anime series, including new game modes, items, and skins.
Game Modes
The 2.7 update will introduce two new game modes inspired by Dragon Ball Super:
Dragon Ball Super-Themed Mode: This mode combines the classic battle royale action of PUBG Mobile with elements from the Dragon Ball anime. Players will be able to collect the Dragon Balls scattered throughout the map, and once they have collected seven, they can summon Shenron and request a powerful in-game bonus.
Battle Royale: Dragon Ball Super: This mode is a standalone battle royale experience set in the Dragon Ball universe. Players can choose from a variety of Dragon Ball characters, each with their own unique abilities, and battle it out on a specially designed map.
Items
In addition to the new game modes, the 2.7 updates will also introduce a variety of new items inspired by Dragon Ball Super, including:
Dragon Balls: These items can be found scattered throughout the map in the Dragon Ball Super Themed Mode. Once a player has collected seven Dragon Balls, they can summon Shenron and request a powerful in-game bonus.
Super Saiyan Transformations: Players will be able to transform into Super Saiyans in the Dragon Ball Super-Themed Mode. This will give them a significant boost in power, but it will also drain their energy.
Ki Blasts: These powerful attacks can be used by players in both the Dragon Ball Super Themed Mode and Battle Royale: Dragon Ball Super. Ki Blasts can be used to damage enemies or to propel players through the air.
Skins
A variety of new skins inspired by Dragon Ball Super will also be available in the 2.7 update. Players will be able to dress their characters up as their favorite Dragon Ball characters, including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Frieza.
