The Pokémon Company (TPC) and Niantic have announced the availability of the immensely popular mobile game Pokémon GO in Hindi. The news was made as India observed Hindi Divas on Tuesday, September 14. Sixth in Asia and fifteenth overall, Hindi is the language in which the game has been localized. To better improve user experience, many Pokémon have also been given Hindi renames.
Since its debut in 1996, Pokémon has served as a unifying force in society as a legendary video game and entertainment franchise adored by millions of fans of all ages. With just 151 original creatures, Pokémon has grown to include more than 1,000 monsters today, capturing the interest of both youngsters and adults.
The Pokémon Company and Niantic add Hindi language support to Pokémon GO
TPC has chosen to rename 800+ Pokémon in Hindi in order to demonstrate its commitment to the India market in light of the country’s rapidly expanding fan base. The Indian fans of Pokémon would find this to be even more relatable. Everyone may now access the new Hindi names on the Pokédex’s official page, and they will soon be able to look up information on all Pokémon in Hindi.

Additionally, Niantic is holding a month-long exclusive event for Indian gamers to commemorate the Hindi localization. Field Research, Timed Research, and Bonuses with exclusive rewards are just a few of the interesting components that make up this in-game event.
