PlayStation releases a new update for PS5, new features and multiple changes
Sony continues to polish the PS5 user experience. After releasing the March update, which was accompanied by the introduction of Discord and several news to keep in mind, the Japanese have been patching their next-generation console with a few stability improvements. However, version 23.01-07.20.00 includes a little extra that is worth commenting on.
It should be noted, however, that the patch notes are still as succinct as the ones Sony has been writing over the past few months. After all, the aforementioned stability improvements come with another readjustment by the Japanese company: “We have improved the messages and usability on some screens.”
As you can see, it’s not a big deal, but it’s still a piece of information that Sony has seen fit to include in the patch notes. Beyond this, it’s worth remembering that stability improvements to a system ensure slicker performance and a smoother user experience, so the release of any patch on consoles is cause for celebration.
PS5 has already presented its portable device
Leaving aside the news in the PS5 firmware, we take this moment to remember that Sony’s next-generation console has already confirmed the existence of a portable device that, for the moment, is known by the name of Project Q . Presented during the past PlayStation Showcase, we know that this device works via Wi-Fi, has an 8-inch screen, and will force video games to be installed on PS5, among other things.
