Pikmin 4 Crosses Over 115K Units In Japan In Its Second Week
The Japanese header Famitsu has published the weekly list of the best-selling games in physical format, where the premiere on Switch of Natsu-Mon stands out.
After a more than remarkable premiere last week. Pikmin 4 has once again been the best-selling title in Japan between July 24 and 30, placing more than 115,000 units to exceed half a million copies sold, according to Famitsu (via Gematsu ). Thus, Switch continues to dominate in the Asian country this July after the best June in its history, once again being the console that has distributed the most units with more than 78,000.
However, it hasn’t all been Pikmin. This week there have been two notorious releases in Japan. On the one hand, Spike Chunsoft has released Natsu-Mon! 20th Century Summer Vacation, a summer adventure from Millennium Kitchen that expands and three-dimensional sizes the concept of Boku no Natsuyasumi, a type of game that in Spain we have only been able to enjoy with Shin Chan: My Summer with the Teacher – The Infinite week. It has placed 16,267 units on Switch.
On the other hand, there is CRYMACHINA, an action RPG with anime aesthetics and a science fiction setting from the creators of Monark and The Caligula Effect. The version for Switch sneaks into the sixth position of the ranking and that of PS5 in tenth place, adding a total of 12,645 units in physical format. Lastly, the Switch-exclusive platformer Disney Illusion Island has sold over 7,000 copies. The classification is like this:
