Joker
Joker has the Persona of Arsène. He specializes in a dagger, and has infinite powers. While Joker’s weapon strength and his speed are relatively average, he is undoubtedly the best tactica character. It would not be wrong to say that Joker is the Pokemon Master of catching Personas.
Joker exhibits every elemental power together. This makes it difficult for other members to make a difference or seem useful. Joker can easily use any element, so if there is an element to be used, give it to Joker. Being a wild card of the Phantom Thieves, he is also their leader.
Makoto Niijima
Makoto is the Persona of Johanna. Her own fists, along with nuclear powers is her specialty. A full package, Makoto has healing powers. Her strength while attacking is outstanding. She is super fast on her feet, and like Morgana, she can ride around on wheels.
Apart from her battle abilities, she is the best girl as a romantic partner right from the first game.
Zenkichi Hasegawa
The Persona of Valjean, Zenkichi Hasegawa, holds the specialty of being great with the sword. However, he has no specific elemental powers. His magic is non-elemental thus hitting all creatures equally. Although he has what looks like a heavy weapon, Zenkichi is still quite fast while using it. Being strong, he can sacrifice HP to become more powerful.
Yusuke Kitagawa
Yusuke is the Persona of Goemon. While specializing in a katana, he also has ice elemental powers. It looks like he is built like a fast ninja in the original game but in this version he seems slower. Although Yusuke can make some strong attacks, his attacks are not that useful since he sheathes his sword. This unleashes it for a heavy attack once charged. It delivers a powerful strike however it leaves him in a vulnerable state.
Haru Okumura
Wielding the Persona of Milady, Haru’s specialty lies in heavy weaponry. She carries an axe, along with psychokinetic powers. The developers have kept her animation quiet funny especially when she drags her axe on the ground.
Although she is strong otherwise, Haru is slow at times because of this axe dragging. Thus, she is a tad more unwieldy relatively when compared to her faster and balanced teammates in this game.
