One Piece Luffy’s Gear 5 Episode: Release Date Announced, Fight Mode, What To Expect

The One Piece anime has not stopped offering us unique fights and moments since the summer of last year. With the arrival of the battle in Wano, Luffy, Zoro and company have not stopped giving their best to win an extremely complicated war.

After several attempts to defeat Kaido, it seems that the end of the arc is near, and with it a transformation that everyone is waiting for Luffy’s Gear 5. There is so much expectation around this fight that Toei Animation has already announced the date of the most important chapters of the entire series.

On August 6 we will finally see chapter 1071, or what is the same, the awakening of Hito Hito no Mi in the anime, something that will completely change the series, since from here we discover that Luffy is the legitimate heir of Joy Boy and the reincarnation of the god Nika, a clear sign that our favourite pirate will become the King of Pirates.

However, it will be on August 13 when we see Luffy in action, being considered by many as “The Best Episode“. And it is that there is a lot of hype for the fight, since instead of being tremendously epic, in the manga it is presented to us as a comic duel with a much more Looney Tunes-style touch than a typical anime fight.

The month of August will be truly exciting for One Piece fans, since in addition to these long-awaited chapters, the live-action adaptation that will tell the first steps of the straw hat pirates in the East Blue will also arrive on Netflix.
