One Piece: After Gear 5 Can We Expect Gear 6 As Well?
Indeed one of the finest Anime ever made, One Piece has ensured that this masterpiece entertains every age group possible. Whether Roronoa Zoro’s three sword styles or Luffy’s all 5 Gears, each One Piece episode is a gem.
Recently, we saw Luffy toying with Kaido after he triggered his Gear 5 in episode 1071; thanks to this episode, the dead hype of One Piece was revoked! Yes, you heard it right; thanks to Luffy’s Gear 5, fans across the globe want more episodes of One Piece.
The biggest question now is, after Gear 5 can we expect Gear 6 as well? Being a die-hard fan of this masterpiece, I definitely want to see Luffy pushing himself for the Gear 6 transformation. But let’s discuss the possibilities for the same:
Can we expect One Piece Gear 6?
We saw Luffy reaching his limits in Gear 5; how powerful can the creators showcase the protagonist? I mean, for this, you need to have a powerful evildoer, too, right? Kaido was one of the best anime villains I have ever seen.
Luffy’s awakening of his devil fruit enabled him to defeat Kaido, widely regarded as the “Strongest Creature in the World.” When he transforms into his Gear 5th form, very few One Piece characters can match his strength.
As we saw, Luffy Gear 5 is powerful, and there would be no disagreement on the fact that Luffy is at the peak of his power. As I mentioned before, I would love to see Luffy gearing towards Gear 6, but I highly doubt that for now. I mean, he may trigger his devil-fruit powers and goes all out with Gear 6, but it’s still speculation. The Straw Hat may unlock this in the end game, but I am not 100% sure of this.
Luffy Gear 5 Reviews
Many fans believe Gear 5th will be the most iconic moment in the story so far. While Luffy’s previous forms may not be as impressive as Gear 5th, the transformation is less intimidating than the others. Some fans do not appreciate this goofier approach, especially considering Luffy is fighting a Yonko.
