League of Legends Patch 13.15 is set to go live on August 2nd, 2023, according to Riot’s patch schedule. The rollout will begin with the Oceanic servers, followed by other regions receiving the update throughout the day.
Here are the approximate timings for each server:

Players should anticipate several hours of downtime during the patching process, with matchmaking queues being disabled approximately three hours before the patch release.
Focusing on Balance Changes
Patch 13.15 is primarily a balancing patch, seeking to fine-tune champions and items for a healthier and more diverse meta. Riot’s aim is to bring champions with high pick rates and win rates closer to the average without overly nerfing or buffing them.
Champion Nerfs
Kai’sa:
Kai’sa has been a dominant force in the meta, especially with her AP build dominating professional play. To address this, Riot is nerfing her AP ratio per missile on her Q ability, Icathian Rain, from 30% to 20%. Additionally, the cooldown refund on her W ability, Void Seeker, is reduced from 77% to 75%. These adjustments aim to bring her damage output more in line with other marksmen.
Naafiri:
Another champion receiving nerfs in Patch 13.15 is Naafiri. The passive ability “We Are More” will now cause packmates to deal 25 to 75 bonus monster damage based on their level. This change intends to reduce his early game strength while maintaining his power in the later stages of the game.
Sejuani:
Sejuani, the Winter’s Wrath, is also facing nerfs, though exact details are yet to be revealed. As a popular jungler with considerable crowd control, Riot is likely to address her early game strength without making her obsolete in the later stages of the match.
Shyvana:
Shyvana, the Half-Dragon, is on Riot’s radar for nerfs as well. While the specifics have not been disclosed, the goal is likely to reduce her dominance in the jungle and curb her early game power.
Aatrox, Maokai, and Rell:
These champions are slated to receive nerfs in Patch 13.15, though the exact changes are yet to be revealed. Riot may fine-tune their abilities, base stats, or scaling to bring them more in line with other champions in the game.
Champion Buffs
Yasuo and Yone:
The brothers Yasuo and Yone have struggled after the ADC mythic item rework impacted their itemization. To help them regain their footing, Riot is planning buffs for both champions. The details of these buffs have not been disclosed yet, but players can expect improvements to their kit, making them more formidable on the Rift.
Caitlyn, Gwen, and Nami:
These champions are set to receive buffs in Patch 13.15, though specific changes have not been revealed. The goal is to strengthen their viability and offer players more viable options in various roles and team compositions.
Heimerdinger and Taliyah:
Both Heimerdinger and Taliyah are expected to receive buffs in the upcoming patch, though the exact details have not been unveiled. These buffs could potentially enhance their abilities and increase their impact on the battlefield.
Ivern:
Ivern’s base stats are being adjusted in Patch 13.15, with his magic resistance reduced from 32 to 30 and his magic resistance growth reduced from 2.05 to 1.3. Additionally, his W ability, Brushmaker, will now provide a higher base damage for allies, but its shield AP ratio is reduced from 75% to 50%. Furthermore, his ultimate, Daisy!, will have its duration reduced from 60 seconds to 45 seconds, and Daisy’s base health and resistances will be adjusted, no longer scaling with 5% of Ivern’s ability power. The AD and AP ratio for Daisy will also be reduced from 30% to 15%.
Yorick:
The Maiden of the Mist, Yorick’s ultimate, Eulogy of the Isles, will receive changes in Patch 13.15. The Maiden’s base health will be adjusted from 350/1825/3300 to 400 – 1650 based on her level. Additionally, her health ratio will be reduced from 70% to 60% of Yorick’s max health. The Maiden will now have a base armor and magic resistance scaling with her level, and she will also gain 12.5 health regeneration.
Item Changes
Night Harvester:
The Night Harvester item will undergo changes in Patch 13.15, with its damage-triggering limited only to basic attacks, abilities, and pet damage. This change aims to adjust the item’s power level while maintaining its usability in the right situations.
Smite:
Smite will now deal 20 to 160 damage based on the champion’s level when used against pets, providing more consistency and balance during jungle encounters.
League of Legends Patch 13.15 is poised to bring a range of changes, from nerfs to dominant champions like Kai’sa and Naafiri to buffs for Yasuo and Yone to reinvigorate their presence on the Rift. Other champions will also experience adjustments, while items like Night Harvester and Smite will receive changes to enhance the game’s overall balance.
As the patch goes live on August 2nd, 2023, players can look forward to a more diverse and engaging meta, ushering in a new chapter of thrilling League of Legends gameplay.
