LEGO 2K Goooal Rated in Korea: Key Points, Major outcomes, positive and more
The game was mentioned in leaks last year alongside LEGO 2K Drive and is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. South Korea’s age rating system has listed new games, including LEGO 2K Goooal! from Take-Two Interactive, which has not been officially announced. Its passage through this registry suggests that the presentation is imminent.
The truth is that it is not the first time that there has been talk of a LEGO and soccer game published by 2K. It was mentioned along with a driving game – which turned out to be Visual Concepts’ LEGO 2K Drive, already on sale – and another that the sport has not revealed. It is rumoured that Sumo Digital is in charge of the soccer game, and there was speculation that it would launch on the dates of the last World Cup in Qatar, but it seems that now it could coincide with the start of the new seasons in the main European leagues.
The existence of this LEGO 2K Goooal! was reaffirmed in December with the leak of a LEGO kit in which the figure appeared with a character named Finnius Dash and the 2K Games logo. As you can see, the figure is personalized in this case with a shark mask and the Barcelona Football Club shirt, which suggests that it will lean towards a casual style and with the characteristic humour of the license, without official players but all the freedom to edit player customization.

The Mystery of the third collaboration
None of the leaks that got the LEGO 2K Drive and LEGO 2K Goooal! has completed the third game from LEGO and 2K Games. The soccer one could be the first step, although it leans towards arcade gameplay, of 2K with soccer games. Many fans are calling for more competition in a genre dominated by Electronic Arts’ FIFA, which this year will become EA Sports FC after the break with FIFA.
