Leaker Claims That Black Ops 2 Remastered Maps Is In The Development, Likely To Be Out By 2025

A similar new leak has recently surfaced which spread like wildfire. The leak claims that Call of Duty 2025 will feature fan-favorite Black Ops 2 map remasters. It will reportedly follow in the footsteps of what Sledgehammer Games is doing with 2023’s Modern Warfare 3.
While fans eagerly await the release of Modern Warfare 3 later this year, which will include several fan-favorite features as well as the first appearance of zombies in the MW saga, leaks for new games in the genre keep appearing.
Call of Duty 2025 may include the whole collection of remastered Black Ops 2 levels, according to recent sources. This would come after all of the upgraded Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps were included in 2023’s Modern Warfare 3.
Leak suggests BO2 maps remastered for CoD 2025
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on September 10, CoD leaker el_bobberto said that Call of Duty 2025 supposedly plans to include multiplayer remastered maps from Black Ops 2 as a follow-up to its anticipated 2024 release.
Another trustworthy Call of Duty leaker, TheMW2Ghost, added that they had “heard similar that Black Ops 2 maps were in the remaster pipeline.” last would be similar to what Sledgehammer Games did with last year’s Modern Warfare 3, which at launch featured a remaster of each of the game’s original 12 MW2 (2009) maps.
Remember that this choice may alter over the production process, possibly depending on how well Modern Warfare 3’s remastered maps from MW2 are received, which has been surprising given certain rumored changes that weren’t well received by players.
Black Ops 2 included 14 multiplayer maps when it was first released in 2012, just like MW3 did.
