1 years ago By AI Smith

A huge shift is occurring to the VCT season, which is now inert. Many well-known Orgs are in the midst of bolstering their rosters with the addition of seasoned players. Teams have frequently modified their rosters throughout the whole off-season. One renowned organization from the Americas, Sentinels, is likewise actively updating its roster. Fans were caught off guard this time, though, by completely unexpected news. “El Diablo” Yay, a former member of OpTic Gaming and Cloud9 Pro, has also joined Bleed Esports, a Pacific League squad, for their VCT 2024 campaign!

The Valorant Champions 2023 championship match will always be remembered by fans as one that had an impact! The underdog teams, who won match after match, were the season’s high point for VCT 2023. However, some highly valued teams fell short of everyone’s expectations! Some clubs performed so poorly that they were either unable to advance through the first round or fail to earn a spot at the next levels.

But every Org is currently through a second chance in order to make amends for their errors. Benkai, formerly the IGL for PaperRex, joined Global Esports recently, one of the notable Pacific League teams, to serve as their new IGL. In addition, “El Diablo” Yay joined Bleed Esports, which has added another player to the Pacific League.

Since the VCT’s start, a lot of outstanding players have developed and established themselves. But some of them made such a lasting impression on audiences with their outstanding plays that people could never forget about them. In addition, Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker, commonly known as the “El Diablo” for his excellent gameplay, is a noteworthy player. Yay has a lot of experience under his belt as a previous member of OpTic Gaming, the team that came close to defeating LOUD in the VCT 2022.

Bleed esports made the announcement via a X (formerly Twitter) post. The post included a 1 minute 54 seconds long video along with the text, “The devil has a new home and he goes by the nickname….El Diablo. 👹 Welcome, BLEED @yay. 🩸 #GOBLEED #Valorant”

Additionally, after OpTic was denied a franchise spot by Riot Games, this American player joined Cloud9, the Americas Region Org. Yay played superbly, despite the fact that Cloud9’s performance throughout the VCT 2023 was anything but stellar. Additionally, the player is currently playing in the Pacific Leagues after transferring territories.

Yay has been added to the squad by Bleed Esports, one of the teams to advance past the Pacific League Ascensions, according to a YouTube announcement. In his VCT 2024 run, The El Diablo will now compete in the Pacific Leagues. This time, fans have extremely high expectations from such a remarkable athlete, despite the fact that his roster is still in its early stages. Yay has also discussed his thoughts on signing with a Pacific League team:

“Watching the APAC and China games, their unique Valorant style intrigued me. I wanted to experience it to develop my game. With all the financial drama in N.A, moving to Singapore seemed right.”

The anticipation for the VCT 2024, which is still a ways off, is over the sky. Everybody is curious to see how each team’s new roster will perform. Furthermore, it’s anticipated that Evil Geniuses, the team who won the Valorous Champions 2023 trophy, will shock spectators once more. The Pacific Leagues’ judgment will be much tougher this time, though!

Jacob says “yay” Currently playing with OpTic Gaming’s North American team, Whiteaker is an American Valorant player. The 25-year-old member of his team serves as the team’s main sniper. The community and the Valorant supporters also refer to him as “El-Diablo.”

In 2014, when Yay was still in his early teens (15 years old), he began his playing career. When that was happening, he was playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. YAY made the decision to play Valorant in 2020 and seek a professional playing career in that game. He has prior experience playing for numerous organizations, including Andbox, Team Envy, and OpTic Gaming.
