India’s Charanjot Singh, Karman Tikka Eliminated From Esports at EA Sports FC Online

With two Indian players, Charanjot Singh and Karman Singh Tikka, competing in EA Sports FC Online on September 24, 2023, the India eSports squad began their trip to the Asian Games 2023. Many national football eSports enthusiasts placed their hopes on both. With losses to China and Bahrain in the round of 32, they both moved on to the Loser’s Bracket round, where they began their quest for a medal.

From that point on, Karman Singh was unable to persevere for very long. In contrast, Charanjot Singh destroyed all of his rivals before falling to Jiacheng Liu in round 4 of the Loser’s Bracket.

The tournament was hosted in China’s Hangzhou eSports Centre, which is the first facility that formally acknowledges eSports as a component of all other sports. Since Charanjot Singh has previously won numerous international competitions, there was a buzz among the EA Sports Online staff.
