How To Receive 3,000 Credits For Free In Overwatch 2 Season 7?

6 months ago By AI Smith

Overwatch 2 Season 7 brings exciting content, but it also comes with an unexpected twist. Blizzard’s much-anticipated Overwatch 2 Anniversary event has encountered an issue that has left many players frustrated. Numerous complaints have surfaced regarding the Anniversary challenges of not delivering the promised rewards.

While Blizzard has been working diligently to resolve the problem, players have been left wanting. Some have reported receiving excessive Credits during the Overwatch 2 Anniversary Event, while others haven’t received a single credit. In response to this, Blizzard is offering a solution that will surely please the Overwatch 2 community. Here’s how you can claim 3,000 free Credits in Season 7.

How To Earn Free Credits in Overwatch 2 Season 7

The community’s concerns have been noticed by Blizzard and they have taken steps to address the situation. In a recent blog post on the official Overwatch 2 forums, the developer announced that players will have the opportunity to earn 3,000 Overwatch Credits for free during Season 7.

To claim this generous bonus, all you need to do is log in and launch Overwatch 2 anytime between October 10, 2023, and October 17, 2023. This means that players won’t have to complete any challenging event objectives to receive these Credits. A simple login during this specified period will make you eligible for the 3,000 Credit bonus.

Temporary Freeze on Credit Rewards

To ensure a fair and balanced playing field for all Overwatch 2 players, Blizzard has taken a temporary measure regarding Credit rewards. Due to the unforeseen issues with Credit rewards in Overwatch 2, all Anniversary Credit rewards have been temporarily suspended. This decision was made to prevent a select group of players from exploiting a bug and accumulating an unlimited amount of Credits in the game. By freezing Credit rewards, Blizzard aims to address the discrepancies in rewards distribution and prevent any unintended advantage.

Samoa Map in Season 7

Overwatch 2 Season 7 introduces a brand-new Control map, Samoa, to the game’s diverse map pool. Set against the backdrop of stunning sandy coasts, Samoa brings the Control game mode to life. The map is scheduled to make its debut in Overwatch 2 on October 1, 2023, coinciding with the conclusion of the Overwatch League’s Grand Finals.

Speculation About a New Hero

With the release of the Samoa map, Overwatch 2 players have also begun speculating about the arrival of a new Hero in Season 8. A character who has been teased multiple times since the release of the Antarctic Peninsula map is Mauga and it is a strong contender for the role. Mauga, known as a formidable Heavy-Assault affiliated with Talon, is believed to have ties to Samoa. Following the patterns observed in previous Hero releases, including Ramattra and the Shambali Monastery, it’s reasonable to expect that Mauga might soon join the ranks of Overwatch 2’s Heroes.

As Overwatch 2 Season 7 unfolds, players can eagerly anticipate claiming their 3,000 free Credits, exploring the captivating Samoa map, and speculating about the potential addition of a new Hero. Blizzard remains committed to keeping the Overwatch 2 community engaged and entertained, ensuring that each new season brings fresh excitement and surprises.
