GTA Online removes over 180 cars and bikes, moves behind a paywall; Know reasons
The new multiplayer expansion for Grand Theft Auto V removes 180 vehicles from the sale of the ‘least used’ by players, according to Rockstar Games.
The new expansion of GTA Online, the multiplayer mode of Grand Theft Auto V, has brought with it many new content and gameplay improvements but also changes that the community has not liked at all: specifically there is one that has bothered the players a lot and it has to do with the vehicles that are available to buy in the in-game stores.
Rockstar Games has decided to remove 180 cars from the GTA Online web pages where we could buy them until the launch of San Andreas Mercenaries, its latest expansion. Those vehicles ( you can see the complete list here ) can still appear in the game world, but they cannot be purchased or customized in workshops. In addition, those who already have them in their garages will be able to continue using them.

Why has Rockstar removed those 180 cars from GTA Online?
The GTA Online community has not taken this decision well, since they consider it guided by economic interest: some of these cars will rotate in the recently launched Vinewood Car Club, a new garage for GTA+ subscription members. They can also be traded between players in LS Car Meet. Both options are exclusive to next-generation consoles, that is, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The gaming franchise ensures that the vehicles removed from the GTA Online dealerships are those “less used” by the players. The reason for removing them has been “to optimize the shopping experience”, although Rockstar Games point out that they have not disappeared forever but ” will be available from time to time in other ways, such as in the Wheel of Fortune at The Diamond Casino & Resort”.
From the community of the game, the fans ask that at least these cars eliminated after stealing be allowed to be customized, an impediment that has been present in the multiplayer of Grand Theft Auto V since its release.
