Gamers8 Club Awards 2023: Rewards, Prize Money All You Need To Know
Gamers8 is undoubtedly one of the largest esports events around the world. It is said to be a destination for elite esports athletes and gamers from across the globe. Currently, the best esports teams and players have gathered in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh city, to celebrate gaming and esports for eight weeks.
The esports organization, Gamers8 returned back in 2023 to host its second edition. This second edition features more events, esports titles, celebrations, and bigger prize money. Just before the launch of Gamers8 on 6th July, Gamers8 announced the launch of Gamers8 Club Awards. It is a one-of-a-kind rewards format to that aims at incentivising investment in the esports ecosystem.
What Is Gamers8 Club Awards 2023?
In June 2023, the Saudi Esports Federation introduced Gamers8 Club Awards. It is basically a fund to reward esports organizations that are competing at its Gamers8 2023 event. Through this fund, the Federation will give away interesting cash rewards in prize money to esports teams that perform well across the different esports titles at the festival.
Gamers8 Club Awards 2023 Prize Money
The Gamers8 Club Awards 2023 has a total of $5 Million USD prize pool. This is in addition to the $45 Million prize pool already announced for Gamers8. The Gamers8 festival will feature multiple esports tournaments in games like CS: GO, Dota 2, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, StarCraft 2, Fortnite, and Tekken 7. The organizers describe it as “an unprecedented and unique initiative to support the world’s most dedicated and successful esports organizations.”
Gamers8 will be making use of a points system to award the teams participating in multiple Gamers8 tournaments at the Gamers8 Club Awards 2023.
Gamers8 Club Awards 2023 Rewards
All teams participating in the Gamers8 festival will be eligible for the Gamers8 Club Awards 2023. However, there is one criteria that the organizations participating at Gamers8 2023 must have played in a minimum of two competitions at the festival. The esports organisation scoring the highest points at Gamers8 Club Awards 2023 will receive $1.5 Million USD for 50 points, the 2nd-placed finishers will get to walk home with $1.1 Million USD and 35 points so on and so forth till the eight place.
The Gamers8 Club Awards will reward the eight most successful teams that earn the maximum number of points across all tournaments hosted during the festival. “The rules are simple: place high in multiple games, climb the ladder, and claim the title of the best esports club in the world,” said the Saudi Esports Federation.
