The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2023 is all set to entertain audiences around the world by bringing together the top 18 Free Fire squads from various regions to contest for the prestigious title. The FFWS will be hosted by Garena and will take place in Thailand. 

Free Fire World Series 2023 Date And Schedule

Free Fire World Series 2023 will commence on 10th November and conclude on 26th November 2023. The Group Stage will take place from 10th -19th November, and will have 18 teams divided into three groups. These 18 teams will compete in a Round Robin format, fighting against each other across six match days. Post the 36 matches, the top 12 teams will progress to the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals will be held from 24th -26th November. The 12 elite teams will face off  in 18 matches to claim victory. The team that manages to accumulate the most points will become the champion and will be rewarded with a dazzling trophy and a cash prize.

Free Fire World Series 2023 Slot Distribution

Developer Garena has allocated slots to different regions,with a view of a diverse representation of the global Free Fire community. The slot distribution is as follows:

  • Brazil: 3 slots
  • Latin America (LATAM): 3 slots
  • Thailand: 3 slots
  • Indonesia: 2 slots
  • Vietnam: 2 slots
  • MCPS: 1 slot
  • Pakistan: 1 slot
  • Middle East and Africa (MEA): 1 slot
  • To Be Announced: 2 slots

Scoring System

The points scoring system for FFWS 2023 will be consistent with the previous seasons. The Teams will earn points depending on their performance in each match. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Booyah (1st place): 12 points
  • 2nd place: 9 points
  • 3rd place: 8 points
  • 4th place: 7 points
  • 5th place: 6 points
  • 6th place: 5 points
  • 7th place: 4 points
  • 8th place: 3 points
  • 9th place: 2 points
  • 10th place: 1 point
  • 11th and 12th place: 0 points

The prize pool for the Free Fire World Series 2023 has not been disclosed yet. However, FFML S7 has a big total prize pool of $60,000. It will heighten the competitive spirit among esports enthusiasts and Free Fire fans across the globe.
