Players can possibly expect that Fortnite servers will not be up for an extended period when the live event ends. Epic Games will be keeping the launch for the upcoming event ready.

Changes To Expect in Chapter 5

This is surely giving the gamers and Fortnite watchers some sleepless nights. Everyone is speculating and discussing new changes and what stays and goes away. Leaks about Chapter 5 have only spiced up the Chapter 5 event wait. While we cannot surely state with a confirmation, Epic Games has hinted very strongly at bigger changes which will evolve the game in never before manner. Epic’s new era for Fortnite teases is keeping everyone on their toes for what lies ahead for the game. Players can definitely expect significant upgrades coming their way. More on the Chapter 5 is that the controversy causing cosmetic gating, will not see light of the day in the upcoming chapter. This news comes from the Fortnite Team which means players can skip on looking for cosmetic gating. This feature will not be around till the game owners find a more permanent solution for the eyebrow raising feature. From what we know more about cosmetics, they are being evaluated by game developers and a handful of existing cosmetics which are mostly less than 10 outfits will be playable within the in T-rated (or regionally equivalent rated) islands. This is because of the cosmetics’ obvious fear or violent aspects. Gamers are hoping that all the restrictions levied on cosmetics will soon be lifted. Furthermore, the leaks posted by HYPEX on Twitter, one can confidently say that a massive Lego crossover will be hitting us soon. This launch is happening on 7th December. It will have gaming as an actual Lego character coupled with themed items, building tools,  crafting mode, and more that will make Lego fans way more happy than expected.

Another leak that HYPEX made on Twitter states that there’s a new mode called Rhythm Mode coming. This one will be called ‘Festival’ which will be launched on 9th December. This Festival mode will encompass the casual as well as the competitive modes. In Festival mode gamers can play Guitar, Drums, Vocals and Bass solo or with a team in order to collect free rewards. This can happen with the below artists/tracks which are included:

  • Alice Cooper – Poison
  • Lady Gaga – Pokerface
  • Imagine Dragons – Thunder
  • Fortnite Music Packs
  • Toto – Africa

Well, with a new chapter coming, that only could mean there are multiple newer gameplay mechanics in the pipeline along with the usual Fortnite new weapons to start things off in style. Players can expect many big changes when Fortnite Chapter 5 is out.

What’s the cost for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass?

Most have this question on their minds. But don’t worry we are here to put your minds to rest. You can play Fortnite for free, but if you wish to buy the Battle Pass you will need lots of added rewards. The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass would be available for 950 V-Bucks like usual. This means you can buy the smallest V-Bucks bundle from the Fortnite store. The price stands at $8.99 / £6.99 for 1,000 V-Bucks to be purchased.

For players, it would be possible to get hands on the Battle Bundle upgrade. This brings you to Tier 25 on the Battle Pass immediately. This comes at a cost of 2,800 V-Bucks. This move comes at a price of $22.99 / £17.49 (2,500 V-Bucks and 300 for free).

Players who don’t wish to spend a dime, they can always try to get hands on free Fortnite V-Bucks for the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass of Fortnite. But remember don’t fall for online scam promotion. If players want to save up on a few V-Bucks, then they only have to generate 950 V-Bucks to further unlock the next Fortnite Battle Pass which kicks off in December 2023.

This is so far what we know of Fortnite Chapter 5 till the current time. But if you want in on all the juice keep following the Fortnite Chapter 5 news thread. More details are expected to drop sooner than expected.

Now coming to the most important question, whether there will be a mid Chapter 5 live event. Mostly Fortnite watchers are not hoping for one given the older trend Epic Games has followed. The Big Bang live event marks the closure of Chapter 4 and it is highly unlikely that Epic will host another event at the start or mid Chapter 5. There could be a live event marking the conclusion of Chapter 5  just like the previous chapter.
