Final Fantasy XVI Version 1.03: New Visuals, Patch, Motion Blur, And More
Square Enix has released the 1.03 update for Final Fantasy XVI for PlayStation 5, which introduces some fixes and new features, including one that has been in high demand since its debut: the ability to remove motion blur.
In addition to solving some errors in the stability of menus or texts, three new control profiles -D, E and F- are introduced. Changed maximum setting on horizontal and vertical camera sensitivity from 10 to 20 for better accuracy, options to disable auto character tracking, and added the #FF16 hashtag by default when sharing images or clips on Twitter and Youtube.
However, the new thing that many players have been asking for is the ability to adjust the intensity of the motion blur from 0 to 5 -0 turning it off completely-. Some users claimed to feel discomfort with the original setting in the visual mode that favours graphics and resolution, which showed a very aggressive blur, and considering that we are talking about an action RPG with fast battles, it had become a problem for sensitive users to motion blur.
This is a great joy that comes with other improvements, such as the following:
- Player Tracking (Movement): Disables camera tracking during player movement.
- Player Tracking (Attack): Disables camera tracking during player attacks.
- Camera Sensitivity Increased : The maximum camera sensitivity has been changed from 10 to 20.
- New controller settings : Three new controller settings (types D, E and F) are introduced.
- Improved menu stability: Fixed an issue that affected the stability of some menus.

Our opinion of Final Fantasy XVI
“At the moment of truth, the good is what ends up weighing the most and that is what we have been left with,” we said in the analysis of the game, which exceeded 3 million copies in the first days. “When the adventure gets serious, it rises to the level of the best and reaches such a level that we momentarily forget about its imperfections, allowing us to be carried away by a spectacular journey like few others and that will not leave anyone indifferent. If this Is what you’re looking for and you don’t care about the change of direction that this instalment represents for the series, don’t hesitate to try it”.
