ESL Pro League Season 18 CS:GO Live Streaming: Scorecard, Prize Pool, Date And Format
On August 30, 2023, the 18th season of the CS:GO ESL Pro League is scheduled to begin. For the month-long event, thirty teams from various locations will assemble in Malta. One of the most prominent competitions in CS:GO esports, it has historically drawn criticism forl as underdogs and rookie teams from regional leagues.
The group stage and the playoff stage of the 18th season of the CS:GO ESL Pro League have two distinct formats. Four groups of eight teams each make up the group stage. There will be a triple-elimination tournament in place, and every single matchup will be a best-of-three format. The victor of each group advances directly to the quarterfinals, and the loser receives a spot in Round 12 of the 18th season of the CS:GO ESL Pro League. The third- and fourth-placed teams, who are the high and low seeds, will, respectively, advance to the playoff stage. A single-elimination bracket and streamlined format characterize the playoff stage. Except for the Season 18 Grand Finals of the CS:GO ESL Pro League, every game in this phase will be a best-of-three.
