eFootball 2024 latest updates, new changes, features, total teams and release date
Konami has announced that the update from eFootball 2023 to eFootball 2024 will take place between mid-August and September, with updated data and little new content.
Summer has arrived and while many are on vacation and football competitions are at a complete standstill, the developers in charge of football simulators are preparing the final touches to launch their corresponding annual season.
In the case of eFootball, the Konami football simulator with which they wanted to replace PES by betting on a free-to-play model. We already have news of the approximate date on which we will say goodbye to eFootball 2023 to welcome eFootball 2024.
As the well-known football title tweeter Jhon Rojas has detected, Konami has updated its website to give us information on the date of the update which will take place “between mid-August and September”.

As you can imagine, eFootball 2024 will include updated data that reflects both the transfers of footballers from associated football teams and the main promotions and relegations in the most important national leagues.

To carry out this transition they plan to “perform a large-scale maintenance” that could last a few days, during which squads will be updated and also the photo “of the majority of the “Normal” footballers signed in eFootball™ 2023. In addition, the footballers that are no longer available in eFootball 2024 (v3.0.0) will be replaced with in-game items of equivalent value.”
No playable news beyond removing the dominance of the team’s playstyle
As for the news in game modes or gameplay. At the moment they are very scarce so do not expect the editing tools that Konami had promised for last winter or the Master League that. According to the Japanese company, is going to launch this same 2023.
The only notable change beyond the roster update will be that “Team Playstyle Level” will no longer be taken into account.
