Diablo IV: What Is ‘Worst Class’? How To Understand It
Blizzard’s Diablo IV has been a resounding success in just a month since its release. Although it has also received a lot of criticism after its first update. This patch nerfed several classes and some builds came to nothing after all. One of the hardest hit was the Sorcerer class, which, according to many players, has fallen to the bottom of the RPG’s class list. Nothing could be further from the truth. One user has worked hard to prove that Wizards are not useless as long as the correct build is used.
Reddit user Wunthr is responsible for giving the Sorcerer a new life. As he explains in his post, it has been based on user Northwars’ post on MaxRoll. Thanks to this, he has managed to clear a nightmare dungeon at level 100 with his Sorcerer at level 91, thus proving that the class is not as useless as many thought.
What Are The Notes?
Note that these types of dungeons have enemies ranging from level 100 to 150, so generally speaking, your character was at a disadvantage. The MeinMMO medium picks up the dangers it faced: 25% faster enemies, with 30% more health and damage behind 150%.
How do we do it? Multiple users used a variant of the Blizzard mastery ability, which is among the best in Diablo IV. The build in question benefits from a superior version of Blizzard that shoots icicles. These icicles explode and deal massive amounts of damage, dealing a whopping 25 million damage.
It’s not just that Blizzard is outright outrageous, it’s enhanced by useless Hearts, introduced in Season 1 of the RPG. With all this and a lot of dedication, the user wanted to show that the Sorcerer is one of the best classes as long as the build is well-measured, something that is inherent in this game.
However, this does not change the community’s perception of the class. While the reactions to the video are good, the Sorceress is currently in a weak position within the class roster. In principle, and taking into account the movements of Blizzard, this should change soon with the next patch.

Diablo 4 seasons start with controversy
Since the announcement of this first season of Diablo IV, there have been some critical voices with the need to create a new character to enjoy Season 1; something that on the other hand has been a constant in this kind of game even in the days of the memorable Diablo 2 with the “Ladders”. Given this scenario, Blizzard has already dropped that there could be changes later, emulating the reborn mechanics of Diablo III.
Last Thursday, July 20, the first season of Diablo 4 began with new challenges and rewards to continue enjoying the brutal RPG action of this PC and console title that has become one of the most successful so far this year.
Diablo IV Success
As reported by Blizzard in a press release last Month in June, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV has surpassed the barrier of $666 million in the initial five days of launch. These incomes have also been thanks to microtransactions, which have been the subject of controversy since some cosmetics cost up to €25 in Diablo 4.
The company has also shared other statistics that show the great reception of the game. In this way, 276 million hours have been exceeded and players have killed 276,000 million demons. However, users have also died 316 million times. The true heroes of the community have been the 163 people who have reached the maximum level in Hardcore Mode, that is, permanent death where you lose all your character, time and objects.
