Diablo IV Battle Passes Date, Number of Seasons, How to join, Characters & more

12 months ago By AI Smith

Many have only been playing Diablo 4 since it was released. The Blizzard title is packed with content and many players are doing everything secondary. However, Seasons and Battle Passes arrive in mid-to-late July, and we’ll be getting more details on what to expect soon.

However, one of the first pieces of news in this regard has not been very positive, since it would force the creation of a new character. It seems that the current one will not serve to access said contents. Diablo 4 General Manager Rod Fergusson confirmed this via Twitter: “To participate you will need to create a new Season Character.”

He has also noted that “if you play the campaign with a seasoned character (if you want to or need to finish it), it will also advance the Season and the Battle Pass .” In addition, one of the good news has been that “you can continue playing in the eternal realm, as before, if you do not want to participate in the seasonal activities. And when a season ends, your seasonal character will go to the eternal realm so you can keep playing there if you want.”

Blizzard’s success with Diablo 4

Despite these controversies, it seems that within the Blizzard office, they are very happy as Diablo IV has become the fastest-selling game in the company’s history. Furthermore, they also revealed that in just 5 days, Diablo 4 had brought in a devilish amount of money. It is about $666 million, but this figure will be much higher at the moment.

Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV sold almost 14,000 units

One more week where Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was the best-selling game in Spain in physical format, a position that it has not abandoned since it went on sale, this time with 7,950 units, and already adding a total of 238,000. Of course, the second game was very close, and it was Diablo IV in its PS5 version with 7,500 units. Blizzard Entertainment’s game on Xbox sold 4,000 units (it had been a while since an Xbox game had made it into the top 10), and on PS4 it sold 2,350 units.
