CS:GO IEM Cologne 2023 Play-In Format

A double-elimination bracket format is used for the play-in stage to provide each team an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. The first round of matches will be best-of-one, and the remaining rounds will be best-of-three. To move on to the group stage, the top four teams from each bracket (upper and lower) and the final four teams from each bracket (lower).
