BGMI Maintenance Schedule August 25: Players Might Face Issues Regarding Game

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) recently announced that the game will go through a scheduled maintenance activity. During the maintenance period, the game servers will be taken offline for updates, bug fixes, or other maintenance tasks. 

That also means, till the time the maintenance is not completed, players will not be able to access or play the game. Similarly, players may also encounter some server delay.

When is BGMI Maintenance Scheduled?

The publisher of the Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton, announced the BGMI Maintenance Schedule which aims at optimizing the game for better gameplay. The BGMI Maintenance is scheduled to take place on 30th August from 2.30 to 3.30 IST. 

BGMI Maintenance Schedule Notice

Krafton issued a notice to all the players which stated the exact details of the maintenance activity. The notice read:

“Dear Battlegrounds Mobile India fans, To provide a better gaming experience to players, server optimization maintenance will be carried out. We ask for your kind understanding as you may experience some delays accessing the game or other in-game issues during maintenance hours. Please find the maintenance schedule here – August 30th 02:30 – August 30th 03:30 IST.

The frequency of BGMI maintenance is based on the need for updates or bug fixes in the game. Usually, the maintenance is scheduled once every month. Krafton announced and notifies the users about the maintenance schedule on the official BGMI social media channels.

Developers usually take this maintenance as an opportunity to make changes, resolve existing issues as well as add new features or content to the game. Generally it is done in conjunction with a major update.

In case players are unable to access BGMI even after the duration of the maintenance time, they can check the official social media channels for any updates from the developer about delays and about when the servers will be back online.

With the recently announced maintenance, Krafton may be looking at making the following changes or additions:

• Addition of new features or content to the game.
• Fixing of existing bugs or glitches.
• Improving the overall game performance and stability.
• To prepare the servers for a major upcoming update.
• To take the servers offline for security reasons.

These are some changes we can expect from BGMI once the maintenance is completed. Any players facing any kind of issues with BGMI can report the problem to the developers through the in-game customer service system.
