Asian Games 2023: All Indian Players, Games, Total Members And More

The Asian Games 2023 is all set to be held at Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China. The biggest sporting event of Asia will be held from September 23 to October 8, 2023. The Asian Games 2023 is officially called the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2023. It will be a 15-day-long continental sports event. It was originally supposed to be hosted in 2022, however, due to COVID-19, it was shifted to 2023. 

The games will feature a staggering 40 different sports in this years edition, with the best of the best from Asia competing for top honors. The event is held once every four years and India is known for making history season on season at The Asian Games.

This year too Indian athletes are buckled up to make a splash. India will field a total of 634 athletes at the Asian Games 2023 who will represent the country in 38 different sports, with the most number of athletes, that is 65 of them, competing in athletics. The numbers are huge since during the last edition held in Jakarta in 2018, 570 athletes represented India in 36 different games.
