Armored Core 6 Confirms 13-minute Gameplay, Watch Video
Bandai Namco has published a video of more than 13 minutes with the gameplay of the latest from FromSoftware, the creators of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, which will come to PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It has posted a 13+ minute gameplay of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, as promised yesterday. The video, which includes narration from the developers, mixes gameplay sequences from various levels, showcasing a variety of fights against common enemies and final bosses.
As the footage makes clear, to emerge victorious from the stages of Armored Core VI it will be necessary to experiment with the constructions of the mechas or piloted robots, which are highly customizable; as well as “learning the proper strategies and techniques, such as how to destabilize enemies with the correct weapons, combine ranged and melee attacks, and take advantage of every advantage in battle,” the editor explains in a press release.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is the first game in the main series in more than 11 years since Armored Core V was published in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In this decade, the development studio FromSoftware has gone from being a company that created niche games to entering the mainstream thanks to Dark Souls, Bloodborne and especially Elden Ring. The evolution of the firm, as well as the changes in its design philosophy, have been applied in this sixth instalment, as they explained to us at Summer Game Fest.
